covered bridges in Delaware County. Biking level is considered moderate. |

This area is famous for its trout streams and fly-fishing. There are pools and streams all over. The closest place is just a walk to the end of the road. |

Golf |
There is an 18 hole golf course located 10 minutes from the cabin on
Rt. 28 toward
Oneonta. |

Hiking |
For long walks enjoy the solitude of the cabins rural
setting along a dirt road or walk on trails in the woods behind the
cabin. For hiking in the wilderness there are mountains all over

Kayaking |
There are two kayaks for use at the cabin. There is a
$200 deposit required for use. You can kayak just at the end of the road, put in at the metal bridge and it is a beautiful kayak ride to Sydney Lake. Or Kayak the Susquehanna River near Sydney or the Delaware River in Hamden, NY or Delhi, NY. |

Sydney Lake is the closest place for swimming. It is a large lake with a beach and campsites. It is a great place for children. If you just want to refresh yourself jump into the river at the end of the road at the metal bridge. |

Baseball Hall of Fame |
For all of you baseball fans The National Baseball Hall of Fame is located in
